Kaylee Audrey
It has been two crazy weeks. I apologize to all of you that have been waiting for more news, but the free time I have (if any) I use it to rest. Having four kids four and under keeps me pretty busy. My dad is still here helping, and we still have our hands full. It will be hard when he leaves.
Kaylee got out of the hospital two weeks ago and Audrey came home two days later. They are a lot of work and fun. We love having them home. Emily is delighted to have her baby sisters home. She likes to help me with them in any way she can. Kaleb acted up a little the first few days, but he is getting used it. He is very gentle with the babies and has not shown any aggression or resentment towards them. Kaylee and Audrey are good babies. They usually sleep and eat, but they have their good and bad days. Usually Audrey likes to be held in the morning and Kaylee in the afternoon. At night they are pretty good, but I have to get up about four times every night. At least when we have a rough night is because only one of them was up, and not the two of them at the same time. Sometimes Zach and I feel overwhelmed, but overall we feel very blessed to have Emily, Kaleb, Kaylee and Audrey with us.
Estas dos ultimas semanas han sido un poco dificiles. Les pido disculpas a quienes han estado al pendiente del blog y esperando noticias. La verdad es que el tiempo libre que tengo lo uso para descansar. Tener cuatro hijos pequeños me mantiene bastante ocupada. Afortunadamente mi papa todavia esta aqui ayudandome y aun asi no nos damos a basto. La cosa se va a poner dificil cuando el ya no este.
Kaylee salio del hospital hace dos semanas y Audrey dos dias despues. Las gemelas son bastante trabajo pero estamos muy contentos de tenerlas en casa. Emily esta contentisima de que sus hermanitas esten aqui y me ayuda en lo que puede. Los primeros dias, Kaleb se porto un poquito mal pero ya se esta acostumbrando. Nunca se ha portado agresivo con las niñas y por lo general tiene mucho cuidado con ellas. Kaylee y Audrey son buenas bebes. Comen y duermen todo el dia. Claro que unos dias son mejores que otros, pero usualment a Audrey le gustan los brazos en la mañana y a Kaylee en la tarde. En la noche se portan bien, aunque me tengo que levantar como cuatro veces. Cuando tienen mala noche es porque una de ellas estuvo llorando y no las dos al mismo tiempo. Asi que esa es una ventaja. A veces Zach y yo nos sentimos un poco abrumados con cuatro hijos, pero sobretodo es una gran bendicion tener a Emily, Kaleb, Kaylee y Audrey con nosotros.
Que buena onda que ya las tienes en casa y que se esten acoplando tan bien! Es dificil tener dos bebes de la misma edad y sobretodo al amamantar o cuando estas sola...peor para ti que aparte tienes otros dos chiquitos que te necesitan. A mi se me hiso un poco dificil pero rapido me acostumbre, y claro Glen me ayudo bastante. El pobre andaba como zombie en el trabajo porque el tambien se tenia que despertar en la noche cuando tenian que comer.
