Emily's trip to the ER

Last night Emily and Kaleb were playing with two little friends from the neighborhood. They were outside jumping on the trampoline. Zach was mowing the lawn and I was feeding the babies inside. I heard Emily screaming and didn't think too much of it since she is always yelling. She would not stop screaming, so I went outside to see what was going on. Zach was holding her trying to get her to calm down and explain to him what happened and where did she hurt. The other kids told us that she was running around on the trampoline's springs outside of the enclosure, one of the kids(playing around) pushed her and she fell off.
Emily hurt her right leg and could not walk on it. We couldn't figure out if she was just being too dramatic and her leg was sore from the fall or believe she was really in pain because something more serious was going on. We decided to take her to the hospital. Zach stayed home with the other three, and I drove her to the ER.
After an x-ray and a lot of waiting the doctor told me that she had a right tibial shaft fracture. In other words, she had broken her tibia right in the middle and needed to get a cast on. At the ER they just put a splint all along her leg so she couldn't move. She will get a cast on her leg on Monday, when the swelling goes down.

She still smiles for the camera
